Self assessment

No matter what type of business you run the most important question you want answered is 'how much tax do I have to pay?'.

This aspect of our work has grown enormously since the self assessment system was introduced in 1996.

We complete all tax returns online, ensuring that our clients are quickly informed of their tax liabilities and any repayment that is due is promptly repaid by the Revenue.

The self assessment taxation system imposes strict obligations on you, the taxpayer. It is your responsibility to be fully up to date with records and returns.

Self assessment has strict time limits and you will be fined automatically if you are late filing your return. In addition, the Revenue will charge interest and surcharges on outstanding payments. There will also be random enquiries and investigations. Failure to meet the Revenue's deadlines could be costly.

The responsibility for completing the tax return correctly and on time is yours.
